fyi this meme doesn't make sense americans because to us, bunker hill was a critical moment that helped us win the revolution against the British. It's a historical fact. The battle was a tie, but the overall result was a victory for the colonials and their morale.
it's only funny to foreigners for some reason. Can you explain why?

>tfw we would be in space if Challenger never happened

It was actually the US public which defeated us 2bh. No one stateside wanted a war, just like chechen war that russia fought.

If youre not trolling youre a complete fucking retard m8, sorry to break it to you.

i am a retard. can you explain?

>Can you explain why?
Most countries in the world would call capitulating to the enemy and surrendering your capitol a defeat.
See: France in WW2.
>>58214600
wtf
>>58215151
Battles are either wins, losses or ties. So are wars. Muricans completely lost in Vietnam, it amazes me the lengths you guys go to try to justify otherwise.
Someone post emus.

But anon, do you know which image the meme Russian anon posted is based off of?
It's image made by the NY Post with the headline "1-1 usa wins, greatest tie since bunker hill".
Every American got the joke, because that tie helped us immensely in that World Cup game and it was a morale victory after everyone thought we would gbtfo.
Just like bunker hill. Do you see what I mean?
So when foreigners laugh at that pic, it's like they are pretending bunker hill was not a hugely important and positive tie for the American Revolution. America did the opposite of capitulation, it won its independence from Britain.
So we dont understand why you find the title funny.

>this is what euroops actually believe
Come back when you have more than one of each of those 'military vehicles' you listed.

>I'd rather lived under communism or fascist rule if it meant some people on the internet didn't say ignorant things to me
I never thought France could depicted as gayer as they were after Germany BTFO their cunt but you continually impress me.

>Battles are either wins, losses or ties
I agree, but see >>58215391
It seems like foreigners dont get the sun context of the joke from the NY Post.
Did you guys think it was a misprint or lack of understanding of soccer?
>>58215253
>it amazes me the lengths you guys go to try to justify otherwise.
I'm not even talking about Vietnam. I am talking about the meme
>>58215391
If it was a victory, than it was a victory. I cant wrap my head around how you consider it a tie but a win at the same time? Do you think just because you lose as many people as the enemy its a loss? What the fuck man?
>>58215391
No one cares about bunker hill, we laugh at calling Vietnam a win. I'd like to see you explain how capitulating to the communists in Vietnam was "Hugely important and positive" for America.
>>58215467
>you consider it a tie but a win at the same time?
In the context of the war, it was a huge thing for the colonials like I said.
If that battle had been a completely and utter loss, there is a very good chance the American Revolution would have failed.
The US military itself classified the battle as a draw, but it was a massive morale boost to us and a shock to the British
>>58215467
Because there are more implications to the long term ramifications of a military defeat or loss than your brain is apparently capable of understanding. No one can really explain it to you if you can't get your head around the basic concept of a short term effect opposing a long term effect, or a tactical defeat being different than a strategic defeat, or a moral defeat being different than a material defeat.

Into the toxic waste disposal it goes.

>No one cares about bunker hill
We do, and that's what the meme the Russian guy posted is based on.
Which is why the meme doesn't work for us in our heads.
It doesn't jive with our history. You guys are indirectly implying we lost the American Revolution
