Another one of those things which makes me scratch my head about England. Why do we have to cut down almost all of our forests to have farmland? Continental Europoors have way more forestry than us.

I think this is the way London is going, the problem is that they are buying older and bigger flats, converting them into 2 flats then charging 20% more for each than the original rental price of the single larger flat. It feels like everyones dream in the UK is to just buy a load of houses, rent them out for extortionate amounts and not have to work. This means half the population (who are quite happy to only ever own 1 house in their entire life) struggle to even buy a 1 bedroom crack-den from a foreign investor at a massively inflated price because they're already paying the same foreign investor 80-90% of their wage on rent.
