No, the burning of the white house is part of Canadian history, it just wasn't done by Canadians.
Similarly, the Boston massacre was a massacre of British separatists by British loyalists. It is part of American history, but no Americans were involved.
Besides, the marines that burned down the white house weren't even Canadian Brits, they were marines brought in from Bermuda.
