The Shias have a different type of martyr-worship than Sunnis.

Wahhabbism like in the aforementioned posts, is a stricter application of Salafism, which in itself is the most rigorous adherence and application of the original gospel (Quran + Prophet Muhammad's walkthrough of life).
This is true even though Wahabbism (18th) century preceded Salafism (Al-Azhar, 19th).
All the Islamic sects are, innovations by certain political parties, ethnic groups to claim ownership to the single valid interpretation of the Scripture and Prophet's life, and manipulate it accordingly for their objectives and goals.
