world will succumb to china!
China's power is closely link to ours and by definition there can only be one hegemon, not that one needs to replace the other but one holds the spear and the other shield
and so on
>Canada wins no matter which country is on top
>people who believe china's growth figures
WSJ polled 64 economists, 94% of them agreed that china is lying about its GDP.

Chinese officials admitted they've routinely faked their GDP data

Also, why doesn't it list China's debt?
China's debt-to-GDP is estimated to be 240% now.

No China's boom is over, they are in deep shit and they will face a major cricis coming soon:

Their economic slowing is seen in the drop in Oil and the collapse of row material prices globally.
No
Fuck China
China isn't a global hegemony. It's not a capitalist country. It's just a billions of commies living in poverty pumping out cheap quality exports bought at low prices to feed an overpowered government and it's outdated army.
Billions of Chinese live in shit conditions. The government has built cities for farmers and peasants to live in and work in factories. Large enough for a 250,000 population. More than half of those cities are empty and falling apart from zero maintenance. (documentaries on youtube about this)
If you ask me the US will be the only global hegemony from here on out to the end of the world. No army will touch are soil, so nothing will be shaking this world causing a new big dick playa taking over.
China also suffers extensively from corruption, social unrest and inability to carry about real reforms.
Only time will tell before this country is nothing but a thing from the past
>inb4 durrr s-so does the US!!!1
Cerainly not.
No country will replace USA's place in the next 200 years.

The US + allies are still way more powerful and way wealthier than China + their allies. China is trying to change that by investing the region we don't care that much about, Africa, but it'll take a long time before China + Africa have enough economic influence to counter the west.

China has a few allies, such as Pakistan. I think Mongolia is pretty much a colony of China at this point too given how much resources China buys from them, idk how friendly their governments are though.

>>57956602
Except that Canada, UK, Australia and probably others are moving towards ever closer ties with the PRC. Staunch allies today might not be of the same tomorrow. If europe +/- russia decides to move away from the usa and towards china it would completely change the entire power structure.

Chinese authorities have L I T E R A L L Y considered rerouting rivers that currently flow into India in order to secure more usable water.
>I know there's 3 or 4 rivers in china that put more fresh water into the ocean
The quality of the water in those rivers can be so poor (depending on the proximity from industrial areas) that it's dangerous to let it come into contact with one's skin.
>>57954991
no without a real economy you can't be a global hegemonia.
Chinese miracle will be over in 2020s you can't have stable economy with fixed exchange rate.
So please stop your circlejerk about a communist country and be prepared after chinese economic breakdown. there would be chaos and golden opportunities
>>57958047
Most of the people here just jerk off to China because of pics of plastic chinks they found on Google. The rest are deluded communists
>>57954991
Maybe, and no.
They will have a difficult time ahead of them, even if they manage to convince their upstart middle class that serfdom is the way to go.
Good luck trying to fight corruption, improve internal market and suppress political competition all at the same time lol
>>57954991
No. They are going to grow but this can't go on forever. China's economy mostly relies on an underclass that can en masse produce cheap goods in sweatshops. As prosperity rises, the growing middle class will demand more freedom and luxuries as we have them in the West, which will ironically sweep away their biggest economical advantage.
On top of that China is horribly mismanaged and by 2030 they will run out of fresh water, making them entirely dependent on foreign trade for fresh water.
Then there's the fact that they're leagues behind America in military power and power projection. They don't even have a decent navy. At this point the French and British navies are literally superior.
Finally, if Friedman is to be believed, the Chinese "taking over Africa" results from the fact that Chinese investors distrust both their own and Europe's markets. It's capital flight.
>>57956937
>Does china have a problem with fresh water sources?
Oh boy!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_resources_of_China
>In a Xinhua article from 2002, Chinese experts warned of future or current water shortages. Water resource usage was expected to peak in 2030 when the population peaks. Areas north of the Yangtze river were particularly affected with 80.9% of Chinese water resources being south of the river. Northern China had used 10,000-year-old aquifers which had resulted in ground cracking and subsidence in some regions.[3]

I think most people here jerk off to China for the same reason they jerk off to a unified EU and Eurofags keep calling eachother "brother": they dislike America. They dislike America because it is the indisputed top dog and will remain so for the forseeable future. China will not surpass it, Russia will not surpass it, India and Brazil are jokes. Any other candidates?

That's natural, USA is a federal country of comparable size so it's to be expected federalists will use it as point of reference. That doesn't yet mean that they need to dislike it.
>Hell, sometimes there are flat-out EU vs USA threads.
okay, so in bait threads you get baited people, that's not really news, or indicative of attitude of majority of europhiles towards USA.
Personally I like both EU and USA, although I feel closer to EU given that I at least have some representation in it.
