America bros can you tell me about the life in the US? I'm curious about your everyday life.
When do you wake up?
What do you usually eat for breakfast?
How many working hours and holidays?
What are you doing on weekends?
Is it boring sometimes?
Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?
Do you sit in the garden on warm summer evenings?
How is clubbing?
Are there many supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the near?
What do you miss in the US?
Are neighbours friendly?
...
I'm happy to hear anything about you.
>>

>>

>When do you wake up?
4 pm on work weeks, 6 am on off week

>What do you usually eat for breakfast?
cereal most days, sometimes eggs/sausage/etc

week on/week off schedule, 12 hour days, work has 10 paid holidays and I have 20 days of time I can use whenever

What are you doing on weekends?
4chan or video games

Is it boring sometimes?
yes

Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?
I like going to colorado for skiing vacations

Do you sit in the garden on warm summer evenings?
no I hate warm weather

How is clubbing?
idk

yes there is a big mall and then a bunch of restaurants and other stores around me, 3 min drive

What do you miss in the US?
the days before social media

Are neighbours friendly?

>when do you wake up
7:00, out by 7:30 or get caught in traffic
>What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Cereal, milk, eggs, toast
>How many working hours and holidays?
40 hour work weeks, get Christmas off.
>What are you doing on weekends?
Personal stuff
>Is it boring sometimes?
Yes.
>Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?
Depends on who you are. For me, it's a chance to have a bit of change every once in a while.
>Do you sit in the garden on warm summer evenings?
Usually on my poor eating habits as to be the reason I'm suffering when it's hot and humid.
Otherwise yes.
>How is clubbing?
Book, I like book.
>Are there many supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the near?
Yes. Usually near parkways or the center of a town.
>What do you miss in the US?
Less laws, less paranoia, better economy, less taxes, less inflation, more buy value.
>Are neighbours friendly?
Luck of the draw. Usually yes.

Basically, it's a nice, calm life here, but nothing of any real substance occurs here.

I guess I shouldn't complain. I got a home, food, water, entertainment, my books. It's comfortable, and it's a dream, but doesn't it suck to have the same dream over and over again?

Don't know. Just cruised around some urban places in Portland with Street View and it looks really beautiful with all those plants and trees everywhere. I think most towns and cities (except some Bavarian ones) are pretty depressing compared to what I just looked at.

Think of the USA as Germany, but much more spread out and far laxer laws. Oh and much sunnier and humid down south.

Visit some of the national parks like Yosemite or Yellowstone if you want to see lush green plants and the like.
>>
>When do you wake up?
6AM
>What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Oatmeal with peanut butter every morning.
>How many working hours and holidays?
40-45 ish with 14 days off and 11 holidays (used to be 23 days but I took a new job for may pay and free grad school)
>What are you doing on weekends?
Hang out with gf (inb4 normie REEEE)
>Is it boring sometimes?
Life can get boring anywhere, but I keep myself occupied.
>Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?
I love to. I go camping in the boundary waters in northern mn.
>Do you sit in the garden on warm summer evenings?
See camping
>How is clubbing?
Depends on your scene. I like drum & bass and sometimes a good show hits Minneapolis and I go then.
>Are there many supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the near?
Yes
>What do you miss in the US?
Wut?
>Are neighbours friendly?
Yes but not as talkative as other places in the states because of our autistic Scandinavian heritage.
>>
>>57794944
>When do you wake up?
6am M-F, 8am weekends

>What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Four scrambled eggs with shredded cheese and a banan

>How many working hours and holidays?
45 hours a week, my company is generous so we get every important holiday off (memorial + veterans day)

>Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?
That's all I've ever done, I was never middle class so I've never left the cunt

>Are there many supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the near?
Yes, most """restaurants""" are shit tier but the good ones are holy

>What do you miss in the US?
When it was America and not Africa

>Are neighbours friendly?
The town I'm from, most of the people have family who've lived there for at least eighty years and some for even longer. There's an actual sense of community you can't get in suburbs or cities because we're all German + Irish + a few English immigrants. Farm towns are the real America

>6:30 to go work.
>McDonalds, sometimes a bowl of cereal w/o milk, anything quick.
>Christmas is the only holiday that's mandated as being a day off for me. I work about 40 a week.
>Shitposting, travelling, watching movies and smoking.
>Of course. I want to get out of this shithole.
>When people travel it's usually just for the experience, so a lot of people plan out short trips, unless if you're wealthy, in which case you probably your year in multiple parts of the country, with summerhomes and alike.
>There aren't any gardens where I live because everything around me looks like post-Communist Russia. There are a lot of nature reserves which are very beautiful where I am, and driving will usually net you pretty sites at the top of high hills.
>Most partying is undertaken at someone's house, or atleast that's just my experience. lots of fun drugs, mediocre sex and unnecessary violence.
>Lots of supermarkets, shops and fast food areas. A gas station will typically have a mini-mart inside of it, that's where I get a lot of my groceries. Restaurants are more likely to be diners if they aren't in urban areas. In my area there's a restaurant that sets out a feast for you; Fried chicken, gravy, sweet potato and all the Southern quintessentials.
>You mean like what don't we have? Of the few /int/ memes I will concede to, a lack of fashion sense is big one. Materialism and people hold desperately onto rural preconceptions(Denying evolution, taxes don't help anyone, etc.) are annoying to me.
>The wealthier you are, yes. Depends on what kind of people too. I live next to the only family of fat gremlin Mexicans in my area, and they have a dog that barks consistently, and they're all on welfare, since they only have one car and never go out except for food.

My situation is a little different because I live in shithole hillbilly country. It's a string scenic, poor towns and stubby mountains. Also I work as a janitor.

>Breakfast
Dunkin Donuts Hot Chocolate, and some type of bread.

>hours and holidays
Uni, so I don't work.

>weekends
Studying.

>Boring?
Yes. Everywhere gets borings eventually

>Travel?
Yes. My uncle just drove 19 hours from Connecticut to my state to visit my grandpas.

>Garden on warm summer?
I don't have a garden

>Clubbing
I'm horrible at socializing

>Shops?
Yes, I have a Wallgreens like 5 minute walk.

>Miss in the US?
I don''t know. What do you mean?

>Neighbours.
barely known them. Not much interaction really.
>>
>>57794944

>When do you wake up?
I'm a student so I wake up at 9am for my 10:00 class. 30 minute drive because everything is too spaced out.

>What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Scrambled eggs and some tea.

>How many working hours and holidays?
Don't have a job atm but most people my age who work full time have 40-50 hours and very few if any days off and are discouraged from taking sick days. A lot of my friends work on christmas/thanksgiving.

>What are you doing on weekends?
Fridays and Saturdays i'm either chilling with my boys or vidya. On sundays i do family stuff.

>Is it boring sometimes?
Yes, very. Most of America is suburbs and there is literally, and I'm not exaggerating, absolutely nothing to do. Especially when everything is a 15-30 minute drive. Really nothing to do except vidya and drugs if you're young.

>Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?
No. Most Americans have never left their home state, let alone the country. Most Americans don't even have a passport and those who do mostly use it to go to Canada/Cancun. A lot of people visit family in other states though. I like to travel and have been to Europe/Asia/the middle east.

>Do you sit in the garden on warm summer evenings?
On the porch, yeah.

>How is clubbing?
Non existent in the suburbs, in the city near the universities its alright.

>Are there many supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the near?
No. Nothing within walking distance. The closest places to eat are shit fast food places and gas stations that sell processed junk food, those are 15 minute drives. Grocery stores are more spread out. You have to go for a drive to eat somewhere good/healthy. Most shops within 20 minutes of you are just big-box chain stores like walmart etc

>What do you miss in the US?
Guns

>Are neighbours friendly?
Yes, if you just have casual smalltalk. Most suburban americans don't know/talk to their neighbours. It's kind of lonely and depressing, 2bh.

>When do you wake up?

6am weekdays, whenever I want on Saturday, 7am Sunday

>What do you usually eat for breakfast?

Black coffee, maybe plain oatmeal

>How many working hours and holidays?

35hrs/wk, no DESIGNATED holidays but I can call in holiday when i need to 2bh, my job is rly flexible about that though

>What are you doing on weekends?

Saturdays i go on day trips or catch up on housework and binge watch shows while being a lazy fat fuck. Sundays is church and bible study.

>Is it boring sometimes?

Can be, i live in the middle of nowhere and it is a 30-40 min drive to anywhere interesting

>Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?

Yes

>Do you sit in the garden on warm summer evenings?

Yeah I chill out on the porch and watch the sun set or lay in the hammock reading or shit posting

>How is clubbing?

Never been

>Are there many supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the near?

Yeah and most are open until 10pm, some are open 24/7. My favorite diner is only open 6am - 1pm but its family operated

>What do you miss in the US?

pre- 9/11 usa

>Are neighbours friendly?

Some are, Some aren't. I try to be on good terms with most of my neighbors since they'll look out for you and tell you if they see anything suspicious. There's one neighbor that I absolutely despise and she can go fuck herself. The rest are okay and around holidays will bring over food and stuff. Lady across from me makes really awesome tamales.
>>
>When do you wake up?
7AM weekdays and 9AM weekends (sometimes later if I'm feeling particularly rough after a night out)

Don't eat breakfast generally, but usually fruit or cereal if I do

>How many working hours and holidays?
40-50 a week, 2 weeks time off + national holidays

>What are you doing on weekends?
bonfires, bars, eat out, biking, DIY projects, yard work

>Is it boring sometimes?
no more so than anywhere else

>Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?
yes, I've visited every state and most major cities

>Do you sit in the garden on warm summer evenings?
yes, often

>How is clubbing?
I generally go to bars rather than clubs, but there are plenty

>Are there many supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the near?
yes, have many all over that I can walk to in minutes

huh?

yes

I rarely leave California and when I do it's a culture shock oddly enough. There are nice places and crappy places. I don't want to sound racist but avoid areas with a large number of blacks and mexicans as crime rate shoots up significantly if there is a large number of them around. Gangs is a huge problem in big cities like LA though but then I tend to avoid that city unless you want to visit hollywood or something.

I can only speak about my limited experience and only about the state of California sadly. Also there are a lot of gay people here as it's a strong liberal state. It wasn't like this over a decade ago. How times have changed.

Usually fruit. May makes eggs and sausage on weekends.

40 hours a week.

Chilling with my homies and drinking beer
>Is it boring sometimes?
Where I live yeah. I live in a small town and it's quiet.
>Do americans like to travel to other cities or places in the US?
Yeah. Our country is huge and varies a lot geographically. Plus every place has its own vibes that are fun to experience.
>Do you sit in the garden on warm summer evenings?
I like to sit in my front porch with a beer and watch the world go by
>How is clubbing?
Not my scene but I know people who love it.
>Are there many supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the near? Not near me because I live in the woods but the cities are loaded with them.

I honestly missed the food when I was away. When I got home after being in Europe for a month I got a burger right away.

Mine are very nice. Often show up unannounced but always welcomed to do so.
