Went to sardinia last summer and high school -aged kids seemed to be nearly my heigh (am 182cm), same thing with Japan. Young generation seemed to be well above meme levels.
It's well worse in Helsinki, I've been walking with my Red Wings on through out the winter season (which add couple of cm) and have just notice that some girls are nearly my height on sneakers. Feels like the average here for guys is like 185cm or so.
