Thank you for perpetuating the mystery. That's at least something.
My town almost exactly the same now as it did 100 years ago. Except we have a co-op now
>tfw small english town feels

minus 200 years and those buildings would still be there.
>>57567805
Why do you have Sudanese flag? Do you live there? Why do you live there?
>>57568211
I am a native lad. Don't make me call the Swedish international hotline to complain about perceived discrimination on /int/.
>>57568289
desu when I think about Sudan what comes to my mind is war and famine not some bored individual having a computer, electricity, or Internet even let alone speaking English, so honestly I find it hard to even believe you.
you know that calling Swedes wont help because I don't live there right?
>>57568628
>you know that calling Swedes wont help because I don't live there right?
It was a bit of banter, a sly reference to your FennoSwede population and centuries-old dominion, etc.
You're right to consider those but they're massively exaggerated because of the intense international focus on Darfur. Although the rest of the country is severly underdeveloped as well, mainly because of the Islamshits in power.
>>57568699
Were you raised to believe in Islam?
>>57569234
Yes of course, so I am most qualified to dissect it from inside out.
It's the most effective political tool for any dictatorship, it literally prohibits any critical judgement of its core principles. It's effectively medieval imperialism disguised as piety.
>>57568699
>mainly because of the Islamshits in power.
Ever thought there might be more to it than that?
Are you colonialist offspring yourself or what? I still don't really believe you btw.
>>57569391
You don't need to believe me, I posted several timestamps, including two a few days ago, it's tiring. It's just that a sizeable minority of Sudanese kids receive their entire education in English, hence I am a native English speaker (although dreadful in Arabic).
>Ever thought there might be more to it than that?
It's easily the biggest deterrent to any national development I could identify.
>>57569391
>You don't need to believe me
I want to believe you, I really do, but the odds of something unlikely being true being true on the Internet are often quite low, I've browsed the Internet for something like 14-years now and I just have a hard time believing in something like this at this point, I guess of course the world has changed but It still seems very unlikely to me, something I really have a hard time believing in.
> sizeable minority of Sudanese kids receive their entire education in English
sizable portion of Sudanese can't read at all. Unescos website says 74%. Literally bit over a quarter of the population can't read.
I don't doubt that some people receive some if not all of their education in English, but rather the level of comprehension and expression achieved and the access to a place like this is what seems unbelievable.
>It's easily the biggest deterrent to any national development I could identify.
It's not like the christian African countries are very developed either
