Do people in your cunt keep exotic animals as pets?
>>
a friend had a tarantula, is it exotic?
>>
>>57548205
I bet that would taste good well-boiled and fried.
>>
>>57548270
Yep, that's pretty fucking exotic. Arachnids and insects scare the living shit out of me.

>>57548304
So did a bunch of people in the past. Turns out they're not exactly tasty, so they released the snails in the wild and it became a plague.
>>
also iguanas. they're cute, I've always wanted one.
>>
Isn't that venomus for touching?
>>
kangaroos, dingoes, crocodiles, bilbies, quokkas, literally anything m8

>>
>>57548390
Ohh boy, one of my cousins had iguanas and turtles. It was fucking dope, mate.

>>57548410
I think they carry a parasite or something.

>>57548424

I had a tortoise as a kid, but it "ran" away (seriously). My grandmother has had several parrots over the years.

It's a squid. Fucking americans, man.

If you raise them with humans around they become almost domesticated, obviously you need a lot of space as they grow bigger.

>>57548576
the cutest kind, I also saw loads of brown snakes which should be avoided because they're the second most venomous snek in the world after the taipan, which coincidentally is also australian
>>
>>57548205
Are aquarium fish considered exotic? I have a few, they're mostly from South America.

Megalechis Hoplo
Nanus corys
Apple Snail
Neon tetras
Green neon tetras
Glowlight tetras
And some Mollies.
Plants are mainly from South America too like the Amazon Swordplant.
>>
>>57548593
my great grandmother had a super smart guacamaya who could do tricks, knew lots of words, could sing and was wacky all around.

it died a few dies after she died, like it missed her too much.

Also, my brother has one of pic related. It's been with us for like 17 years, sometimes I forget it exists but it's a super chill animal.

Once it just dissapeared and we had no idea what happened, but then it came back to its pond after some months... we assume it went to hide under the refrigerator or something.

We have to feed it live fish though, sucks for the fish.
>>
>>57548706
Do you think that would work with a cow? I always wanted to keep a cow as a pet.

>>57548770
I think it depends on the fish. I really don't understand much about fish. Aquatic animals are too spooky for me desu

>>57548812
Does it bite? The turtle, I mean.
>>
>>57548862
yes. we've never been caught but it looks like it could seriously harm you. It looks slow but it's super fast when it goes after a fish.
>>
>>57548593
I had like a dozen of the fuckers. They dug holes and ran away
>>
>>57548706
I saw a thing once about a kangaroo that thought it was a dog because it was always around them since twas a babby
>>
nothing considered "exotic" but

>ball python

Not really exotic but i used to have 2 indian ring neck parrots like pic related. They were pretty chill but one used to be really curious and explore a lot and one time it flew away but some guy on a boat found it after 2 big birds were fighting over it and we got it back then a few years later it flew away again and it never came back and after that the other one got super depressed and anxious all the time and got super attatched to me because i was a NEET so i was always with it and in the end we gave him to this lady in the city who had 3 other parrots of the same species. Dunno how he is now hopefully he settled in but sometimes i miss him and im sure he misses me and my mummy too
>>
>>57549062

>>
>>57548862
>I think it depends on the fish.

Well, they're from South America originally, I live in Europe, to me - it's exotic.

>Aquatic animals are too spooky for me desu
These are very friendly, I can assure you. Very colorful too. They're like tiny little swimming jewels in water.

Pic related a few neon tetras
>>
>>57549058
Those are cool, I like chickens.
>>57548205
No, I grow exotic plants though. Not drugs, just unusual tropical plants.

Oh man, you just reminded me! I had chicken too! They were so cute! I was a little boy and I was a bit autistic, so I used to grab the female and I would take her out to show her around. You know, the same way people take their dogs to a walk. Good times, man, She loved to eat roaches. She had three lil' kids, and they were super cute too.

Mostly palms, though I have a few cycads. I've been ordering seeds online for years and now I have a whole jungle in my house.

I have some varieties that aren't really grown anywhere outside of a few botanical gardens and private collections.
>>
>>57549366
Ikr! My favourite is my hoplo catfish though. Here's one like mine. Though it's brown, the one I have is kinda albino (and so far the only one I've ever seen)

>>
>>57549997
Yeah ours were super friendly i think cos we just let them be free and go wherever they wanted. They did ruin the back yard though, we havent been able to make the grass grow like it used t since we had them lol
>>
>>57550041
Cute :3
>>
>>57549881
I wouldn't let mine inside the house. Birds can't control their poop, so it's pretty hard to keep em'. I had a huge backyard, it was almost like a little forest desu.

>>57549997
Yeah, chicken are pretty fucking based. They're mega cute. The female at least was. The rooster was autistic :3

Pigs are cute when they are little, but they smell awful and are too much work for too little profit if you're not raising them to be pets.

This thread is making me want to buy a house somewhere rural just so I could have some chickens.

They're still small. But they're armoured catfish. You see those tiny, small indentations? Those are actually bony plates.

Anyway, here's one of my favourite beauties, a Pictus catfish. It has the most magnificent whiskers, like a chinese dragon. Sadly, they eat everything they can fit in their mouths so it's a bad idea to keep them small fish like mine.
>>
>>57549058
Good taste
>>
>>57550182
Do you have ducks? I think ducks are the friendliest of the birds. Too bad their poop is also the worst poop.

>>57550213
Yeah, me too. I miss my little buddies.
>>
>>57550242
>like a chinese dragon

Yep, it does resemble chinese dragons. Almost makes me wonder if chinese dragons are actually based on certain species of fish.
>>
>>57550182
When i was in high school we had turkeys one year and one day my ag class had to clean their cage and they had done these yucky poos and they didnt shut up the whole time we were cleaning they just kept gobbling

The cows were always based though

I'm uncertain. According to wikipedia it's made up of different animals
Sinologist Henri Doré lists these characteristics of an authentic dragon: "The antlers of a deer. The head of a crocodile. A demon's eyes. The neck of a snake. A tortoise's viscera. A hawk's claws. The palms of a tiger. A cow's ears. And it hears through its horns, its ears being deprived of all power of hearing."[14] He notes that, "Others state it has a rabbit's eyes, a frog's belly, a carp's scales." The anatomy of other legendary creatures, including the chimera and manticore, is similarly amalgamated from fierce animals.
>>
>>57550639
They do. And it smells like cancer.
But I've seen some people put diapers on their ducks. It's weird, but I guess it works.
