Why Americans use British people to play as American heroes like Jean Grey?
Do anglos notice the difference between the accent?
We put some Portuguese actors to play as Brazilians in our TV shows, but we notice the difference, except when they're more Brazilian than Portuguese.

Yes of course we notice a difference.
When Brits talk in US shows I'm always thinking "oh fuck is that what we sound like?"
Shit is weird.

Depends on the actor. British actors are pretty good at accents, but we churn them out by the thousands and not all of them will be proficient at them. You'll get many Americans on here surprised to find out that an actor is British when they thought they were American - Christian Bale being a main one. But yes there is a very noticeable difference between the natural Brits/Americans/Aussies accent.

Tbh when you're just watching the film you probably wouldn't notice it much
If the film is set in yankland then they'd probably be putting on a yank accent anyway

Also Sophie Turner isn't that good at accents, whereas someone like Vivien Leigh was.

They all seem to have a similar accent too. If I throw the BBC on everyone has different U.K. accents, but I watch an American show or movie that has a Brit in it and they all sound the same. I'm guessing this is purposely done.
