the government fixed the problem with english by replacing it with russian as the secondary language, moving russian as the 3rd language an average georgian learns. speaking english is a pain in the arse due to the strong accent we maintain while speaking any other language.
the gypsies speak a language that's a mix of russian and georgian. all the immigrants i know learn the basic language easily, but cannot pronounce certain letters and words because they don't exist in most other languages.

it is hard to learn and takes time, but not as hard as most asian writings. writing is relatively easy because we talk exactly like we speak, meaning there are no things like "th" every sound is a single letter. that makes it a bit easier to learn.
so if you know how to speak and you learn how letters look you can write, unlike in english where queue is just Q with 4 useless letters.
