How industrialized is the area you live in?
I live in northern NJ and industrial sprawl spreads for miles and miles
Everyday when i get on the bus to work in the city I see miles of miles of cranes, factories, oil tankers, construction, it's all gray and depressing tbqh
No the best pic of our urban sprawl it's much worse in some areas
>>57327650
>the Meadowlands
mein freund
Oil tankers and cargo trains are lined up for miles
Eventually it passes

Where at OP? I live in Hoboken, and when I go back to where I grew up in central jersey I have to pass through the god awful area your talking about.
Not much of the state is like that though
>>57328225
I would move from this shithole but I have a good job in the city and I can't stand new Yorkers so I can't and won't move to new yawk
JUST
>>57328315
That doesn't look like a shithole.

East Brunswick
Even the suburbs are commercialized
There's a park in my neighborhood and if I go like 20 feet into the forest there is a commercial park in the other side
I hate this state I wanna move to the Midwest
>>57328377
Well you're Russian
This is considered shithole here
>>57328421
Ahhhh I see. Yeah that towns pretty built up. Have you ever been up in the northwest portion of the state? Surprisingly open and non commercialized.
We have
Purina pet food plant
Gore-Tex factory
..and a place that makes all of the ice cream cones for every McDonalds west of the Mississippi
>>57328520
I never really venture that far out
My English teacher in 11th grade said that there are people who live in shacks up in the woods and the police don't dare to go in
Knowing North Jerseyans that's probably true
>>57328596
It's pretty nice I golf up in Sparta every once in a while. Tewksbury is the shit too.
This is what I mean by urban sprawl
not very. Here is where I work. It's just green fields and offices.
East Brunswick eh? My Grandmother lives down there. Myself, I'm in Sparta. Hickiest part of the state.
>>57328876
>Sparta
r u Greeki breeki?
>>57328876
I like it up there. I ride muh motorcycle in that area alot
>All these richfags ITT complaining for no reason.
Northwest Wa. Not industrial at all. This is what I see on my way to work
>>57330412
It's not rich, those look like places where Tyrone will mug you
>>57330412
What type of area do you live in?
>>57333076
Moscow oblast.
>>57333598
Cool. What's it like in comparison ?
>>57333681
In comparision to what?
>>57333744
Is is mega industrial in many areas like OP talked about? From the pics it looks more like a ton of commieblox
>>57327650
Not really.

360 panorama.
>>57333867
It's not industrialized at all. All our industry died in 90's. We have only food factory and one metal construction factory in our district.
>>57333914
It won't work for me on mobile maybe I'll check it out when I have a computer.
What do you do for work? What about for fun?
My region is largely agricultural, and the industrial companies are small and spread out. The only exceptions that constitute actual eyesores are a few power plants and large chemical plants an hour or so away. We do have tons of subjectively ugly wind turbines in the vincinity though.
>>57333914
I'm a programmer. There is a lot of things you can do for fun, because moscow is near.
>>57334202
Is it weird to think wind turbines are kind of cool looking? I guess I have a bias because I may try to get into that field (design and commissioning work).
I think they beat out vapor/gas power plants in terms of ugliness by far.
>>57327650
>tfw SJ master race
>>57334202
I liked wind turbines in Netherlands.
>>57334414
Depends on the extent. There's a model train coziness level of wind turbines, and then there's an eyesore level of wind turbines.
I literally come from a Russia-tier shithole
Benghazi used to be the economic capital of libya
it all changed when the ISIS nation attacked
>>57327650
4th biggest metropolitan region in Germany and I am right at the edge of one of the biggest forest regions. Very comfy and infact there are big forest patches all around the metropolitan region
>>57334607
Yeah I guess they don't look so nice in that picture.
>>57327650
I wish my city was still industrialized. They all left and now we have huge stretches of empty fields and abandoned factories and warehouses.
>>57334607
I have this weird thing, these wind turbine forests seem really scary to me, especially when they are turning fast, I'm glad we don't have them in this excent in Czech Republic.
>>57334806
Turns out it's actually the largest wind park in the country, wasn't aware of that. You only see half of the total number in that photo though, they just go on and on.
Industry? What's that?
There's not much heavy industry to speak of, but there's a lot of mixed commercial-industrial areas with huge warehouses.
>>57334924
That's pretty impressive. The closest one near me I think is in Atlantic city. Traveling there on the highway they are far off and look kinda cool, much less in your face.
>>57335525
>tfw just did some googling
>tfw there are A HUNDRED AND TWENTY TWO wind farms in the US that have a higher output EACH than Germany's biggest wind farm
>>57335695
America RULES ;^)
