We are central Europe but since we are on this map I will answer anyway. Life here is pretty good if you are middle class, the quality of life in Prague pretty much at western levels. The economy is growing, low unemployment and lots of international companies are looking for workers. Beer, weed, whores and everything else can be afforded on a middle class lifestyle. How is life in Argentina for someone middle class?

not that bad, I have a pretty quiet life, never been robbed or raped, there are some insecurity (that depends on the place where you live), but if you know the non-go zones and avoid the criminal faced people in the streets, you're alright.
Also, we have an average salary of u$s 600-700, cost of living is a quite expensive, but you only suffer if you think too much about it

Deinitely would say Cordoba, we have good landscapes, a middle-sized main city with nice and funny people in general.
You also could go to Rosario in Santa Fe, but they're having trouble with drug-dealers.
Mendoza is a good option too, beautiful places near of the Andes, but their people is very closed and conservative, I have no clue about how they are to foreigners

he asked me for a calm and comfy lifestyle, Buenos Aires (specially the main city) is great for parties and night-life, they're a lot to see there and you rarely would get bored and you will see tons of qts, but they also have the highest criminal rate of the country, you sure will be adviced about the non-go zones, but you have to be alert.
for a quiet experience, I will always recommend my city
