I heard one of the problems being religious difference, explained through a metaphor of food.
A group of friends have grown to like sandwiches over their previously favorite foods.
One says That a sandwich is bread topped with stuff, topped with more bread.
Another other one says he's wrong, Sandwich is stuff between bread
The third friend Says That both of them are wrong, Sandwich is stuff surrounded by bread.
The once good friends argued about this so badly it ruined their friendship, and a dude who liked Horse noodles got a bunch of sausage fans to get them evicted from their shared home.
Meanwhile the neighbors who lived next-door generally thought the sandwich was the same thing and someone who didn't quite like sandwich yet only had to deal with kebab lovers next door
