Why do American college males dress like twelve year olds? Why do adult American males dress in ill-fitting, ill-matching hand me downs-esque clothing? Different culture, I guess.
I used to live in the states and god damn, the average American is crazy behind in terms of style. I couldn't even wear a fucking button-up shirt (casual and untucked at that) without my friends asking me if I was going "to a job interview or something". The standard American outfit seems to be running shoes, baggy jeans and some polo shirt. In a way I find it admirable that they show such little interest in fashion because ultimately it's a vain and expensive venture, but at the same time having a basic sense of what looks bad and what doesn't really makes you stand out in a positive light among most people.
Europeans (not in all countries I should add) are generally more interested in fashion, and if you think current trends "homosexual" then, well, I guess there's not much I can do about that.
I do know for a fact that given the recent rise of feminism in at least Sweden, more and more males (myself included) have started to care way less about what traditionally defines a man, male gender roles etc. Because, really, why the fuck would anybody care?
I mean I don't dress too crazy (pic related) but sometimes I'll wear what some might consider to be flamboyant clothing because it doesn't matter to me whether it's masculine or not, only that I personally like it.

I think any positive qualities, whether considered masculine or feminine, should be valued by men as well as women. What "masculine qualities" are you even talking about?
