I gotta tell you Europeans something. Here in the US almost 90% of pizzerias use pre-shredded mozzarella cheese. And it's part-skim milk cheese meaning it's not super oily/greasey when you melt it. And it comes in bags with a powder coating probably made of flour mixed with powdered saw dust so that the individual shredded cheese strands don't clump together. So they throw this cheese on the pizza and its not stringy like real cheese. It's like waxy/clay like cheese.
It's terrible. You gotta go out of your way to find a pizzeria that sells real cheese on their pizzas.
My favorite toppings are spicy Hungarian salami and garlic alioli.
