From 1 to 10, how would you rate your country's cuisine? 10 being the best. 1 being the worst.

>>57096477
It's not like that's a common food, That's something someone would make on their own time. You can't just go into bob's restaurant and order the donut burger
>>57096376
Everybody gives their country's shit cuisine 10/10.
I call 10/10 because my country is a cheat since all our recipes have influences from North and South America + China + Africa + India.
Arabs although are quite in the minority, have been opening restaurants all over.
We have local variations and abominations from all the fucking cultures!! Caribbean food is basically cheating
8/10
needs more vegetables and spices
>>57096376
7 or so, it's great from time to time. But i prefer foreign food generally. In other more southern or eastern countries the food is often more complex with different herbs and spices.

>>57096568
I went into an American-style BBQ restaurant a few months back and had a doughnut burger.
It was this fat chunky homemade burger, cheese, some sort of relish, gherkin/pickle, bacon in between two sugar glazed doughnuts. Served with curly chips and a jalapeno pepper wrapped in bacon. Had a root beer to drink.
10/10, one of the worst things I've ever put in my body yet so tasty.

Have eaten them in restaurants before, and It's surprisingly good. The sugariness from the donut does well at balancing out the saltiness of the burger patty and bacon. However I wouldn't recommend eating them more than once a year.
Canada 5/10
We're rich and got access to good food. We've got a few nice things, Smoked Salmon, Maple Syrup, and Poutine all kick ass, but overall honestly our cuisine is nothing special.
It's not terrible but it's definitely below average. We're rich enough we have access to a lot of quality food though.
Like other anons says everybody wants to give their countries cuisine a high score because that's what they're used to.

Well, there must be some BR restaurant there that at least make BBQ or Cozinha Mineira.
>>57116127
i try to find good one, it's very hard in my region
>>57116045
It's not very hard to make if you know how to make beans. Buy a pressure cooker to make the beans, then cook it with sausage and bacon and you'll get something like this
>>57116054
Potatoes, fish, carrots, beef, imported salt and pepper.
http://scandinavianfood.about.com/od/stewrecipes/r/Karelianpot.htm
This is pretty damn good and basic.
9/11
breddy gud
>>57116252
Where do you live?
>>57116297
That actually depends, if you're doing only the beans it will be quick, now if you want to make the complete set, it takes at least 2 hours.
>>57116482
>if you're doing only the beans it will be quick
>quick
The beans alone, if you're using a pressure cooker, take around an hour to make. Those things take time to become edible, pham
>>57116658
I did in 1 hour the beans alone too.
Now the complements (Salads, Sauce, "Mistura" etc...) also takes an hour or more.
That's why i said AT LEAST 2 hours.
I fucking watch Ana Maria, i know what i'm talking.
>>57116344

I didn't think you used that up there. It's very common in Spain.
>>57101048
Don't know about New Zealand, but most Australian schools don't have vending machines, because we're not fat cunts like you who need to have fizzy drinks all the time.
>>57100932
It's not a "hot-dog".
We don't have hot-dogs here. We have Vienna sausages ("wieners"), made from pork, and we can eat them on long rolls. That is something akin to the American hot-dog.
This is still not that. This is "sausage sizzle". It uses low-quality beef sausages with a high bread-crumb content. And, as mentioned, the only appropriate vessel is cheap white bread, and the only appropriate toppings are barbecued onion and tomato sauce.
It's predominantly used as a fund-raising tool by charities and community organisations, although admittedly sausage and bread is often part of a normal barbecue.
>>57116344
>>57116776
Oh, and I've looked for more info, and it seems that mushrooms are very popular in Finland (both collecting and eating them).
In Catalonia it's the same. The chantarelles (Keltavahvero I think), and Herkkutatti are very common here too. "Hunting" them is a very popular activity amongst Catalans.
10 - if you live in the upper class
5 - for middles class
1- for everything below
10/10.
We are a country of obese men and master chefs, so we ought to know something about food.
10/10
Comfiest food in the world and the GOAT desserts
>tfw no honey glazed ham today
>tfw no chicken and waffles either
Pls just end it.
I'm from Poland, so...
Polish cuisine - 10/10, the fact that I can't stand after eating makes it even better, I think Americunts can relate.
British cuisine - 8/10, it was a wonderful surprise eating a dessert looking lunch, which was very meaty. It's a very similar cuisine, though mixing desserts with lunches was a surprise.
Food is the only thing that isn't shit on this country, thought not everything is amazing.
I'd say like 7 or 8/10.
>people who are not italian, french or japanese giving themselves more than 6
>>57103922
Had them before in Naples, Fl. I don't think any states near Canada sells them though.
It needs krispy kreme type donuts for it to work well. Just buy one of those ordinary, soft, glazed donuts that they sell at the shops and make them at home.

Claro porque el pantumaca con tomates de almeria y aceite de jaen solo se come en Cataluña. La cocina en España tiene variables regionales pero se come más o menos lo mismo en todas partes

The only good thing from the country, among with the beautiful language.

Next time try to write in English so that other people can understand.
I did not say that we do not share a lot of culinary elements. What I meant is that each region has it's particular things. You won't eat the same dishes on a Catalan house and in an Andalusian house.
And if I rated the cuisine of Catalunya it is because it's the one I know better. I didn't say it's the "best", I honestly still don't know.
So do not be that butthurt, Manuel.
>>57118897
t. polenta eater
>>57121245
Ok, what I mean is that nowadays althought dishes like paella, pisto or gazpacho are typical from certain regions they are popular everywhere. I eat fuet, canelones or crema catalana very often.
>And if I rated the cuisine of Catalunya it is because it's the one I know better. I didn't say it's the "best", I honestly still don't know.
So do not be that butthurt, Manuel.
I didn't say the opposite. I like Catalan food but like I said nowadays regional dishes have become national. Ask a foreigner about the most famous Spanish dish and he would probably say paella which is Vakencian in origin
