I'll start with Liège, the city I grew up in, often portrayed as a shithole along with Charleroi but I like it. You can even see my appartment on this pic.

I come from a smaller city and have to say I fucking love it. There is always something to do and the city even so a lot was destroyed in WW2 has a lot of nice architecture left. Also the food is great and even so it has not the strongest economy in Bavaria it is not hard to find a decent job.

Kek, the pic you posted is upper class. I'm talking about middle class boxes of deppression. The ones that don't even have sidewalks.
Of course I would rather live in a dream house in a dream neighbourhood, but if I had to choose between living as a middle class person in a commieblock, or a pic related, I'll take the commieblock gladly.

>>
>>57068965
Sorry but no. Apartment living is fucking shit. Noisy neighbours, noisy people outside, cramped conditions.

It's sad that Europoors actually believe this to be a good life. Like animals in a zoo that are afraid of the world outside their cage.
>>
>>57069027
Well, maybe you just really hate apartments. I personally dislike American suburbs also for the lack of infrastructure. Bus stops are far away and supermarkets are ever farther.
>>
>>57069097
I've lived in a house. It was alright, but the only thing that was an improvement was the fact that there was a private backyard. As I said, my apartment is 80m2/860 sqfeet, it's fucking huge for one person, and I don't ever really hear any noise from my neighbours.

I've only lived here 3 years, and, thankfully, I'm moving 2,000 miles from this shithole later this week. This town would be paradise if 70% of the population were eradicated.
>>
>>57069125
I live 10 miles from store, so 10 minutes away.
I am rural but grew up in suburbs.
Living in a commieblock would be a totally different life style.

I like to fish behind my house, shoot guns, ride my dirt bike, hunt, have a garden. I also need a place for my boats and cars, and a place to grill food outside. I don't think it would be for me to live in an apartment.

>>
>>57068965
Yeah, I was talking about upper middle class. I mean, even middle class can look really nice. I don't know why these fucking people take out their lawns in your pic, it looks much better when there is actual green around. As for convenience, that's a cultural thing. You like having your supermarket near you. America has a car culture where everyone has access to a car (cept for city folk), so it's not as convenient in Euro eyes.
>>
>>57069263
>implying an average suburbian is able to do even half of that shit
Sure they could grill some food and shoot some guns, maybe have a small garden (that's why we have summer houses over here), but the other stuff is just a part of living in a rural area.

Yeah, everyone over here has a car too, including me, but I was also thinking about the times when I was growing up, I would take the bus to school, to the swimming pool, to the shop, to meet friends, etc. Do American parents drive their kids everywhere? I know some states allow driving from 16, but not all. And I agree that middle class can look really good, that's why my apartment looks really good. And that's why there's a big park next to it.

>>
>>57069657
In the average suburb 1 out 5 houses will have a pool, stores a short bike ride away, the neighborhood parks normally have a baseball diamond and a soccer field.
>>
>>57069657
American parents do drive the kids around everywhere, and it's usually a task left to the parent who stays home (not the breadwinner). American parents are very overprotective of kids (in the suburbs at least). A little kid going off alone in the city on the bus is something that would have been regular before the 80s, but not anymore. After several serial child rapists in the 70's and 80's, our fear culture latched on and disseminated the idea that every stranger is a danger, and that every adult you don't know could be a rapist. Obviously it's not THAT bad where we're attacking each other, but there is a high level of caution parents take. Of course I still pllayed outside in the woods all the time without parents.

THis all leaves lots of kids sheltered, but America is a more violent country so I guess it makes sense. Major downside is that a lot of these sheltered kids have no idea how the world works, think everyone is a rosy image from their multicultural pictures in school, etc. As they grow older they hopefully learn before something happens to them, though.

A small town outside Prague, pretty calm. Honestly the best thing about this place is the fact that it is 20 minutes to the center of Prague by train. It's possibly the most dull uninspired place ever created. pic related its our city centre. Recently they built a casino. the casinos name is literally just "casino" they didn't even bother with inventing a name.

Some time ago we were in a contest for most boring place in the Netherlands. We came in 2nd. I think that actually means we won; this city is so dull we cant even win a most boring city contest.

Oh, come on. It's not like most of us haven't been to NYC. In terms of cleanliness, if you compare NYC to Chicago, it's dirty as fuck.
The accents are obnoxious.
And the cost of living? You've got to know it's ridiculous.
There's a reason (if not several) that every New Yorker is an edgy, aggressive, neurotic mess.

I live in the Los Angeles suburbs in beautiful Thousand Oaks, I kinda hate it. I like the fact that you don't have to lock your doors because there's no crime, I hate it because there's no nightlife, all the people are conservative, the city council has an evangelical minister on it, it's 40 minutes-an hour drive away from my gf or anything at all relevant in LA, you can't walk anywhere and a lot of the young people are kinda dickbags. Also we produced one of the shittiest bands in the world (The Neighbourhood) and the town right next to us (Agoura) produced fucking Linkin Park. Then again there is no real music venue, so I don't have to worry about having to hear them.

I do like the fact that there are good restaurants of every ethnicity because it's fairly diverse and within 5 minutes of me there's 5 good sushi restaurants, 2 good indian restuarants, 2 good Arab restaurants, 3 good barbecue restaurants, 4 good chinese restuarants etc, .

No, we don't. We may have a reputation for that, but I think it's a misunderstanding. We just don't have as many old buildings. California did that with its old Spanish architecture, but that was partially because the Anglos there didn't value it. We build big buildings next to our old buildings, and that dwarfs them.

Yasenevo (Moscow outskirt where I love) is divided by 16 states, I live in 16th. The main problem of Yasenevo is that it's overflowed with drugs, 90% of my friends is smoking shit sometimes since the school and in my school class here I had two drug dealers among my classmates. It also has literally no good or at least cheap bars and caffes so the only options to take a rest here is to go to the neigbouring neighborhood (Belyayevo) or go to local McDonald's and drink there secretly, or hang out on the streets.
The good things are that my neighborhood is hilly so it has some nice views and it's very green, and we have an enormous forest near us.

I live in New Orleans. It's pretty good because I like to get drunk and I'm under 21 so it's easier here. I'd like to live in New York when I'm older though. Actually my dream is to spend my twenties and early thirties in NYC and then move to Europe. Preferably somewhere cold because I hate how hot it gets here. We never really have a winter. I'd come back every year for Mardi Gras of course
