What variant of Spanish should I choose to learn? I always liked the Argentinian accent but I'm not really sure.
Bump.

>Kill your self tier
Perú
>Shit tier
Chilean, Mexican, centroamerican.
>Bad Tier
Argentinian, paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador
>Ok tier
Colombia, Uruguay and Venezuela.
mmmmm
>>56778403
>Uruguay and Argentina in different categories
Is there any REAL difference asides from meme shit like ending everything in "bo"?
>>56778500
No, he's probably fell for the memes and has no idea what he's talking about
>>56778403
Argentinian and uruguayan accents are basically the same...
They have a few words as slang, but their pronunciation is exactly the same.
>>56778403
>Colombia
>ok tier
su mercé esta equivocado
>>56775506
More Argentina, less venezuela
>>56778605
Is that modern Spanish? Voscmecê is archaic PT-BR.
>>56775506
What is the most manly Spanish dialect? I'm talking raw execution, "sharpened" letters,"duque Farnesio handing a speech to his men, ready to clash against the godless Dutch filth at Gembloux" type of Spanish
>>56778500
Uruguayans are a little more subtle with the pronunciation of their words, otherwise the same thing.
Colombians and Venezuelans speak as if they were singing, which I find appealing. They don't seem force their words like most of latin american countries México with its "wey", Argies with its "boludo , pibe" Chileans with its "wea". Venezuelans have their "vaina" but they don't overplay it as much as us.
>>56778666
Es una expresion que ocupan los colombianos para decir "usted", y viene del español antiguo.
>>56778666
>>56778750
So only Colombians still use it? For some reason I see many similarities between Colombians and BRs. They even say parce while BRs say parça, which means the same thing.

What is the accent from that ad that goes like "vinte-cinco, siete, siete, nueve, vinte-cuatro, vinte-cinco"?
>>56778744
>Argentinians say "pibe" as much as "boludo"
>no mention of "che" (which is said even more often than "boludo")
Confirmado, no tenes la mas puta idea de lo que estas hablando.
>>56778961
Oh, it's Dominican, derp.
>>56778879
So the most manly Spanish is....Portuguese...
Argie accent is a panty dropper if you are attractive.
>>56779076
Maybe, it depends on you...
But the portugues accent she made was awful... They don't speak like russians, portuguese sounds like this (one of my favorites youtube channel)

Well, Portuguese to me sounds beautiful, while most Romance speakers I've met say it's a very....."shzhnj" language. I met with several people studying at the "Iberoromance" department at the local university. They also say Portuguese is simply not comparable with Italian or Spanish. The curious thing is that these people are Slavs. Hell, even Romanian sounds gentle and romantic to us
As I said, to me, Portuguese is beautiful (since I'm fond of Romance languages) but also is not as "mushy" as Spanish
>>56779824
Yes is a good tier language, i'm learning portuguese in fact...
For me german and italian sound beautiful.
>>56780325
One female acquaintance told me that Brazilian Portuguese is arguably easier than the Spanish in the peninsula
Do you think she's right? She's been teaching Portuguese here for three years now. She studied Portuguese and Italian. Maybe it's just bias? We have Latin education here, a minimum of two years, sometimes even four, especially if you were a gymnasium student
Spain's spanish is the best one while south spain spanish (andalusia) is the worst one. Argentinian is cool is like spanish spoken by an italian.
Mexican is andalusian tier.
PeruANO and chileno aren't that bad but they are on the low tier side.
Everything else > bad tier
>>56775506
you already speak pt, why the fuck would you wanna learn spanish?
>Anything but Castillian
what do basques sound like to spanish speakers
>>56781530
It's pretty unique, sounds more germanic but it doesn't resemble to anything
>>56781723
So if I got it right
Castillian is Croatian
Catalan is Slovene
Andalusian is Bosnian/Montenegrin
We need one for Serbian...one that sounds too sharp as opposed to others
By rank of civility and redneck-sounding, of course
>>56782778
The other Spain's languages are Galician (Portuguese), Bable and Aragonés, both variants of a older spanish, and aragones maybe a little mixed with old catalan but they don't have a lot of speakers.
>>56775506
dont learn spanish, this language is for poor people
>>56775506
>>56783228
>dont learn spanish, this language is for poor people
this
learn Puerto Rican Spanish.
>>56779824
Old spanish is closer to portuguese than modenr one. If you look the Cantar del mio Cid (first text ever in spanish) you'll notice it looks pretty similar to portuguese.
>>56775506
Why do you need to ask something like this, just learn whatever accent you like
