I've never not seen Vanilla B&J's at the supermarket.
They even have them on my uni's campus.
Best ice cream I ever had was hand-made at a shop in Arizona run by a Mexican family.
Also those Mexican ice cream bars kick ass. Oh, and the ice cream shop aforementioned also made their own mexican-style ice cream bars, which also kicked ass.
I've never even been to Mexico but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Mexico.

I‘d say Italy, but i dont think it was “true“ icecream i had. I bought normal size and guy popped a LOT more than normal jewish sizes. Also it wasnt cold but somehow neutral, more like gum.
