It's universal you will lose a few inches during paratrooper training and a few more after if you actually join up. It destroys every joint in your body so the effects are dramatic. I don't know if Bongs get comped for prosthetic joints but you will need them.

It's something I've always heard and it's common sense as well. Falling quickly, especially with a pack, will destroy your joints. Any sort of shock damages your joints and you're doing it in training several times a day. Joints don't heal either, all damage is cumulative.
