If you have 12 hour work days you probably just sit around doing nothing for most of the day. It has been shown that the shorter you work, the more you get done. I think it was shown that you literally get more done in 6 hours than in 8 hours. And if you work 12 hours, you probably get done even less than if you work for 8 hours.
