My mom works as a project manager building homes and she loves the Mexican workers. She's always bringing home stories about how fun they are to be around, but never for the white workers. I don't like the fact that I'm racist towards Mexicans but I am. They're the only group of people that I'm genuinely racist towards. They're amazing workers and I'll always respect that about them but, as a people, I find them to absolutely abhorrent. I think it's because we tend to see only the worst of them in this country as opposed to all the good ones in the middle and upper classes that live in Mexico.
Here they're greasy, gross-looking animals who barely speak English or Spanish and make both sound like garbage when they do. The women are fat and ugly and have these crazy drawn on eyebrows that I don't know who is supposed to find attractive and click the godawful butchered Spanish with weird inflections so much that it even makes you hate Spain by extension.
I'm sure there are good Mexicans out there and I'd love to meet them but since they're probably in Mexico, I'll just stay here and continue to be grossed out by immigrants.
