That's true, but still give the alternatives i think he is the best choice, his foreign policy is a big con, but his economic policies are a big pro. it's just that, if there is going to be a new civil war in the middle east, with such rhetoric in the campaing. There is a big chance the warmongerers in both the republican party and the democratic party will point him to his earlier remarks. The US has stayed out of the whole Yemen ordeal as of late, but this is probably an even bigger issue for stability in the middle east. I am hoping he knows to keep his hands away from the pen to sign a new war, but I doubt it. For the rest I like him too, of course the migrationo stuff is a bit silly yeah. Well to be honest, Hillary is just as bad, if not worse on foreign policy than Cruz.. and her economic policies are even worse than her foreign policies.. so again, given the alternatives, i would go with Cruz, at the very least he truly believes in the constitution, which means he's not going to war without congressional approval, and he's not doing anything that will be against the constitution, although you can never be certain about those things.. we can only guess, but his past record is in his favor.

At least Rand Paul has always been very clear about these issues in his campaign, it is such a shame he did not go over his father's legacy, but actually underperformed. The thing i hate the most about Rand Paul and pretty much the libertarian party is that they are too damn weak and not aggressive enough. Unfortunately you need to be aggressive to get what you want, you can't just speak in a level only people who are libertarians or intelligent can understand you, you have to appeal to everybody, or at least to the majority of people, you have to speak on their level, not on your own level, and this is where Rand Paul loses, and the Libertarian party loses. Libertarians can only blame themselves, especially given that the majority of Americans have libertarian view, they just don't realize it, the libertarians should aggressive try to persuade people, yet they don't put any efforts at all. Some people say that Trump doesn't believe what he is saying and he is only saying those things to get elected, and then he would do what's right, but if you look at his past record.. its clean he is in favor of big government, he is a crony and doesn't understand how free market works, but again, at least he knows how to persuade people, and libertarians should learn from that, its sad but its the way it is, if you were to get elected for a university or some scientific institution, you would've need to be aggressive or persuasive, all you had to do is show how intelligent you are, but this is not an academia, its the presidency, you're dealing with dumb people, you have to convince dumb people to vote for you, you have to change yourself to appeal to them, its the way it is, and this is where libertarians fail, they lack persuasiveness.
