Not all refugees are bad famalam. Christianity is about selflessly giving, the Catholic Church has a long history of helping refugees like when Pope Pius X filled the Vatican with refugees from an earthquake or when Pope Pius XII helped Jews escape persecution during WW2.
That being there are limits to what Western countries can do to help. You are always going to get bad apples with any group of migrants, so if you want to stop refugees than the War in Syria needs to end.
