Your first car doesn't have to cost more than $1000. When you go into save mode, that money piles up pretty quickly. Faster than you know it. Then all you have to do is keep it insured, put fuel in it, and keep it fixed yourself with your own two hands. Vehicle ownership ain't no thang. And while you're still young enough, you better believe it gets you laid.

I'll tell you how it worked for me because I have no idea how else to explain it.

>summer vacation comes around and decide I need a car

>now can work whenever I want, go wherever I want
>drive around with friends, make new ones at work etc
>female friend would call asking for rides or to just go out from time to time
>we get close, start "dating"
>no more virginity before long
And the girl I was with right after her also didn't drive. I'm sure the fact that I was driving and working my balls off had something to do with it.

I applied for my learners when I was working full time but my parents schedule clashed with mine, but I was scared af about driving at that point so I kinda avoided learning.
2 years later and I'm finally on track to getting my licence, but at least that full time job helped me save to buy a nice car for when I can finally drive.

I had a vehicle at the age of 17. The reason is because I live in a rural jobless area so there really was no other option. If you can sustain yourself without a vehicle theres no shame in not owning one. Its just another expense after all. If you just want a vehicle then if you're any good at saving at least a little money at a time you could probably get a used one in a year or so. Just don't be a drug addict so you can actually save.
