How come so many Asian Americans name their children with an Anglo first name? It's quite admirable that they wish to assimilate, but if I moved to America, there is no way in hell I would give my children an English name, or change my own like so many of them have.

Yea I knew a Chinese girl here in Denmark who wanted to be called Marie, since her Chinese name was hard to pronounce and quite weird sounding, but I will bet my left nut she will name her kids Danish names. I have seen quite a few shows with Asian Americans in them, and they usually have names like Kelly Wasmoto, David Wang, Bryant Chingpong etc so they actually stick with these names

You might not want to, but most likely your children, or your children's children will at some time. East Asian's seem to integrate faster, in my opinion. Every first generation person i've met is basically of that nationality. There's also an issue of pronunciation etc Many Danish names are derived from the same roots as English names.
