I too have admitted that both sides did horrific things. But the Serbians did far more, and to a greater extent, something which is borne out by the overall death toll of the conflict. They were a fully-fledged nation waging war on far smaller and traditionally marginalised and oppressed minority groups, motivated by the extremist nationalism propagated by Milosevic. He didn't want a pluralistic society, he wanted one where Serbian ethnicity and culture subjugated all else. He literally changed the Yugoslav constitution just to fuck over Kosovans.

A war-crimes tribunal isn't the ICC, m8. Even so, just because an apparatus doesn't have the power to take on the US, it doesn't mean the rest of their work is invalidated. A local police force can't prosecute a mafia boss, however they can still take care of a random deranged murderer should they appear.

You realize we aren't a part of the ICC the most weve done is be an observer we won't radify shit related to it. One of our biggest issues is it lacks trial by Jury which is considered a right of U.S. citizens amongst other things:

I was talking more generally about the character of the Milosevic presidency. In both Bosnia and Kosovo he helped facilitate terrible things, which can't be justified by the "dealing with terrorists" excuse. Just because some Kosovars are shitty people doesn't give you the right to try and erase their entire culture and ethnically cleanse them, just as Croats and Bosniaks wanting to be independent doesn't give you a right to facilitate atrocities against them either.

in the kosovo case, (I'm not saying Milosevic was innocent btw, never did), but in the kosovo case they started an in insurgency (KLA), started attacking serb civilians, harassing them, attacking churches, attacking the serb police, that's when milosevic snapped and began a brutal counterinsurgency that frankly, wasn't unjustified.
