The reason I think it was towed: I tried to park my bicycle in the area of the starbucks at 三条通, but couldn't find a good place so I asked people where I could find a bicycle parking lot. They pointed me to a lot, but it was full, so I just placed my bike against the wall in the parking lot (there were around 6 bikes of people who had come to the same decision).
It just seems unlikely that it was stolen because when I came back all these other illegally parked bicycles were gone as well, and if you walked around for a bit there just seemed so many other bicycles that could easily be stolen. Mine wasn't very exceptional.

Back in my 3rd year of highschool, I told a girl in casual conversation that I'm studying japanese.
Big mistake.
It turns out she was the head of my school's Anime club, and from that point on she kept on trying to indoctrinate me into her little circlejerk for the entire year. I honestly should've seen it coming, considering she looked autistic. She even started bring an Eevee pokemon plush toy with her towards the end of the year. She did a presentation on it for her final in the class.
I could also tell the other kids, even in other classes, thought I was some gross neckbeard weeb fuck just by the way they looked at me while I was, I don't know, copying kanji in my notebook.
Not once did they even consider I was not in it for anime. It's even worse when it's the not-so-savvy Chad and Popular Girl types. They outright assume you are shit
