Japanese actually have some really shit production tbhfam. All the highly rated dramas have poor acting and the camera work and special effects are awful. They feel more similar to spanish dramas.
Korean tele is much better but I'm not learning korean so I hardly see it.
I think France and the U.K are examples of countries with good production without necessarily good budget. India has a pretty large entertainment industry but honestly it is just as shit as their streets.
