Yes, we don't get that much cold (at least, nothing like the prairies), but we get a fuckton of snow.
It's fucking shit and I hate it to death. That being said, I think snow is better than cold. Hard to say though.
People on 4chin who say winter is better than summer are full of shit, and are just saying that to get extra stormfag points for pretending to be "even more white" by liking winter. IRL, VERY few people (even if you only ask white people!) consider winter to be better than summer.

It's really nice when it first falls, especially if it's cold and not melting or powdery. It's awful when it gets wet. It's terrible when it gets dirty. And when it gets wet, melts, gets dirty, and then refreezes, it might as well be frozen mud.
But for a good 72 hours, it's pretty magical.
In New England, it's literally the only time neighbors talk to one another. So it has this ethereal, special quality to it.
