How common is tourist spotting in your country?
In here, we finns gather in groups and go to popular tourist spots to see foreigners in Finland. Last summer I was at senates square with a organized group and we were staring tourists that were taking pictures of places or just hanging around. It's just unbelievable experience when you see foreigners in your country and you know that they have mentioned Finland at least once.

If I remember correctly, in the pic the people who are sitting on the benches were chinese tourists. When we took scent samples it was quite surprising how many chinese people smell like mc donalds.

Actually did it once a couple summers ago with a mate at Karl Johan. Just sat there with a cold brew in hand watching chink and slav tourists pass by, and some Chinese dude even struck up a convo in broken English asking us about the history of the place. Was pretty bizarre.

Not much to say. Just told him the little I knew about the street, and who Karl Johan was, then he thanked us and went his merry way. Also helped a Chinese girl with directions once, but that was on an unrelated occasion where I was merely going to the store.

it's annoying, they cramp the areas, they spin in circles with cameras, they keep blocking your way, they clog public transport, it's a nightmare ffs
