Czech language looks more similar than polish at least to me.
People give less shit about czechs as they are farther away and our history isn't connected as much as with poles. No negative opinions as no positive.
With poles it may differ depending on the person. Some see them as western lapdogs who got tricked by Jews to hate us, some see them as blood relatives and still kinda like members of a broken family.
For me they are both nations of Slavs trying their best to deny their roots and cultural similarities with mordor-slavs.

We get along quite well despite numerous differences. Part of the reason is that we never got into a truly major conflict between each other. In fact we had pretty good relations during the early-mid Middle Ages (our own Piast dynasty being basically an off-shot of the Great Moravian Principality's political elite) up until they got absorbed by Austria. From that moment on the ties between our nations weakened quite considerably and it pretty much stayed that way to this day.
Still, during the Middle Ages Czech language and culture had quite a big impact on the Polish culture. Words like "sejm" or "hańba" were taken from the Czech language for example. Christianity also arrived in Poland through the Czechs (which is quite ironic if you look at those two countries nowadays). On the other hand, the Polish language had a role in restoring the Czech language during the so called Czech national revival (in XIX century).
So yeah, there is quite a bit going on in our relationship, although not many people know/care about this nowadays

Well... I think that as stereotypes go, the Poles are considered Catholic, conservative, militant, nationalistic...

That last one is probably caused mainly by small time hustlers that set up shop without license at places with pedestrian traffic and sell goods of questionable quality and origin in addition to bias toward cheap imports over quality ones our retailers have. But polish meat "tenderised" by water to drive up its mass has become something of a meme.
