Think it through man. One 200-year-old republic is not some kind of testament to the stability of republics, it's the exception that proves the rule. Monarchies go on literally millennia, republics are lucky if they go on for a hundred years. Do what if a dynasty falls? It will be replaced. So what if there is armed rebellion? The monarch will be replaced and the form of government will go on.

Seriously, republics are not stable or long-lived methods of government.

Don't mistake this as an endorsement of monarchy either, this is just an observation.
