I'd love to go there to see the unusual ecosystems. It's a neat case study in avian evolution since it rose straight out of the ocean, making it mammal - free until humans got there. Because of that, you have a lot of mammalian niches in the NZ ecosystem that were filled with strange birds instead. Take the Kakapo for example; a large herbivourous subterranean flightless parrot that fulfills the role usually occupied by burrowing mammals such as rabbits or squirrels. Also they have unique reptiles like the Tuatara that e been around since before the dinosaurs.
Basically it's an archipelago filled with unique organisms and beautiful scenery. I'd like to see it before everything goes extinct.
