Like I feel like dudes compared to our parents generation are shorter. not sure if this is true just something I noticed, barely ever do I see a kid taller than his dad.

Sardinian people are the fastest growing people in the world height wise.
I'm about 185-186 cm (6'1) and my father was under 6, my grand fathers were both manlets, the same goes for my cousins, some of them are about 6'3 but their parents were short.
