What do you think of commies?
Deluded people that still strive for the adoption of an ideology that not only was disastrous for the countries that have adopted it, but also resulted in the deaths of millions of people, be it in wars, purges and man-made disasters such as the Holodomor in USSR and the Great Leap Forward in China.

They're well-intentioned extremists.
I don't like communism, but I'd be fine with a greater communist influence in the United States just to balance out our far-right crazies.

Cancer that should get shot desu.
Fucked up my country real bad.
Communism is my life
Well meaning folk who are ultimately misguided.
communism is forever your opinions are temporal

>just to balance out the far-right crazies
That'll work

It WOULD work.
You always want your own political beliefs to seem moderate. If there's nobody to the left or the right of your own faction, your own faction will appear too radical.
Nobody would call Obama a socialist if there was an actual socialist party here.

They're cooler and more easygoing than most right-wing persons I've ever met.

But then you would have to deal with having an actual socialist party.
I can agree with them in a few points, buth they care more about ideology than people or doing things that actually work.
>communists
NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO! ALL COMMUNISTS MUST DIE!!

I'd be fine with that. They'd be less harmful than the GOP, and as one of three parties, they'd rarely win elections.

In Brazil we do have an 'actual socialist party', PCdoB, which was a political front for communist guerrillas that fought against the military regime a few decades ago.
This doesn't stop right-wing and center-right people from labeling PT (center-left party, part of the pink tide and the 'turn to the left' movements in other South American countries) as outright communist.
I pity the ones actually living in communist countries. The 13-24 year old Che Guevara tee-shirt wearing motherfuckers that think of new ways communism could totally work while getting high, I just laugh at.

I live in Melbourne, a city known for having protests and demonstrations often. The Greens are popular in Australia (as close to a third party as we have) thanks to the left-wing inner-city people here. And then, while we thought the Greens were retarded, along came the Socialist Alternative Party, who advocate for things like open borders, unchecked intake of any and all asylum seekers, and other stupid shit.
