jees, I'm boring
I have never been outside the lower 48 USA, and I do not hold a passport although I was thinking about getting one.
Green are states I've set foot in, maroon are states I probably/may have flown over during two plane rides, my second and third (last) lifetime plane rides. (The first lifetime plane ride was a short joyride over my hometown).
As for the red circle: I've actually crunched the numbers and taken a reasonable estimate. Literally 99% of my entire life has been lived inside the circle. I was born inside the circle, my childhood home is inside the circle, and every permanent residence that I've ever had has been inside the circle.

Recently, I made an unusual road trip to Chicago to see a show; this was my second lifetime visit to Chicago (went once as a kid). I thought about driving into Indiana just to up my state count, but I ran out of time - I'm pretty sure I could see Indiana from the top of the Sears (Willis) tower.
While there, since seeing a truly large body of water is unusual for me, I walked up to Lake Michigan and I made a point of just looking at it for a half hour, before the show. It was either that or an earlier drive along the road; the furthest east I've ever been.
