Even if the above weren't true though, it's still conservative to cut taxes. Being conservative means supporting small government. Less taxes means more freedom and should be supported regardless of the economic costs.

But let's conservatively say we get 4% of economic growth. The deficit could easily be recovered by reduced spending in some other sector. Our deficit grows by trillions each year even now.
