Your original scenario was if martians killed me in my sleep then revived me. You mentioned nothing about memory loss, now you're moving the goalposts.
We already know what death is like. We've had people with NDEs. People who were clinically dead, had their hearts stopped for 15 minutes or so and woke up.
It's nothing like you describe. It was pretty much described as a dreamless sleep or a medical coma. You feel nothing, hear nothing, see nothing and think nothing. That's all there is to it.
The only difference with sleep is that I wake up from the sleep and still have my memories intact. Therefore I knew I fell asleep. If I completely lost my memories,l and knowledge, I wouldn't know that I fell asleep. It would be like if I was a newborn baby.
