Last week I ordered a pizza with onion rings, the man arrived, he gave me the stuff, I payed, he then looked at the receipt and said ''no tip UH?''

I didn't know that tipping was common here like in the US. Do they expect people to give them their salary? I will NEVER tip t͏bh.
I mean you live in United States of Canadian AMERICA after all, its in the name.

I didn't know it was almost obligatory though.
>I look at the menu
>I look at the prices
>I choose what I want
>It's time to pay
>I'm supposed to give extra money
Why would you give extra money for something you already know its price?

Should've told him to go fuck himself. Once someone asks for their tip, they no longer deserve one
>Get pick up food
>Credit card receipt has a tip box
>???
>Tip $3 just in case
That's why I pay for all takeout with cash now lads.

Fucking bullshit. There is no way you were born and raised in Canada and never knew we tip. You must be an immigrant
>tfw you don't live in a shithole that can't afford to pay its workers minimum wage

"Tips are accepted, not expected."
It's a nice thing to do for pizza guys, who have to bust their asses, but if they ask rudely like that, then they deserve to leave empty-handed.
>>52787663
>bust their asses
The place that I ordered it from is literally less than 5mins away from my house. Why the hell should I spend extra money?
>>52786198
Tfw some smelly cunt that I know didn't give me any ones when she gave me change last night. Wouldn't have tipped her if I didn't know her but gave her some ones cause I'm a cuck

The point is that customers shouldn't need to pay extra, not that the worker isn't getting paid enough. Over here, pretty much everything has the service charge included in the cost and the staff are expected to offer good service as standard. If you feel like they've done an exceptional job then you're welcome to tip extra on top of their wage. It's also customary to tip if you're part of a large group here, although some restaurants include an additional service charge automatically for large groups so you'll need to check the receipt first.
