Language is a way to communicate. Someone may say that English (with Australian accent) sounds bad, but to me that is impossible. My thoughts are in English, I speak in English, everything I do is in English. I can't objectively think about it because English is the very essence of my soul. I cannot separate myself from it. To me it is just how I am. I have this idea of English in my head that is so deep rooted that it is the only way to communicate. Every other form of communication is a variation upon this one true form. When I hear a German speaking English, they are not using this form that I know, they are using their own, and to me that sounds wrong, blasphemous even. How can they not hear that they are wrong? That they shouldn't be speaking that way?
