By this I mean governmental services. For example here we have e.gov where you can almost avoid all lawyers, tax advisors, physical signature, also they can upload your citizen ID and e.signature into your sim card. So you dont have sign it by pencil, it also works as your key for your e.gov cabinet.

here most things are computerised
you can pay by phone, and most cards now have a contactless payment option so you can just wave it past the card reader without having to type or swipe anything
works only for payments under 25e so it's good for picking up the groceries without having to hold up the checkout queue
most things can be done online, banking of course as well as ordering medicine, booking appts, some bigger stores have home delivery though most don't
one thing I don't get is why we don't have any self-checkout tills at supermarkets, they're everywhere in Prague for example
all your information is stored digitally and everything has a chip, and you can easily look someone up for example if you're a service desk worker
you can apply for uni online and in most universities/polytechs lecture material is stored online and students can access their harddrive on their school's server and store documents and other stuff there to work on at school
we also have electronic bus tickets and ticket machines, and newer android phones can read your bus card and tell you when it expires or let you top it up for example

It sounds like your country is a lot more advanced in this way than USA. We still use magnetized credit cards despite how easy it is to steal them from 5 feet away. We are slaves to our cell service providers and there are often problems trying to use unlocked phones on US networks. Our internet is significantly slower than the European average.
