from my experience, when i smoke weed the sleep after is pretty heavy. but the thing is, if I smoke 2-3 in a week and then quit, the dreams are intense. it's the quitting that triggers a shitton of dreams for me.

I think in what seems to be Estuary English, when I Googled it. Before that, I thought most people, except Americans think in British English. Even as I type this now, that accent is repeating these fucking words inside my head. Shoot me
When I talk, every fourth word sounds like the aforementioned accent, the rest is some mild American. And I always, no matter what, say "A' dount knouuuuu". Interviewers always laugh at my accent. I don't know, must've been Cartoon Network

Well my memory of them aren't that great tbf I know one which was walking over clouds and falling to your death or being in a really terrible social situation but this is a pretty common thing I've heard.
I do know details about the dream I mentioned though, the last part I remember is that I've heard he cuts so straight, so good, as he was sawing his own own leg off. The last part was when he took his thigh and peeled off the skin, explictely seeing the fat layers was quite disturbing blue veins were visible and the muscle was pinkish, and he started cutting into the muscles seperating them it was at this point I woke up. I was absolutely disturbed at that point, I don't like to even think about veins for whatever reason and I didn't feel right in my own body for a minute.

most of the time the dreams are like stories. what i think is happening is that the brain processes all the recent information and combines it to make stories that kind of have a plot and a narrative. they are mostly random stuff though.
but sometimes you get the disturbing one. actually yesterday I had a disturbing one. I dont know if it's linked in any sense, but this summer I had a freak shoulder injury where my shoulder popped out of the socket. in the dream I remember waking up, and looking myself in the mirror and the my arm was fucking twisted around to the right and I couldnt move it. and I thought in my sleep that the only way I could move it in the right position, is that I dislocate it and relocate it properly. then I woke up

man that's the thing. dreaming is a core function of the brain, I'm pretty sure you are dreaming every night. what you struggle with maybe is remembering the dreams.
maybe if you really force yourself to remember the dreams. most of the dreams you just forget right after sleeping. I think it's more of a mentality issue (you are sure you cant dream, while you most likely can dream) rather than a core misfunction of your brain. tonight when you go to bed, really go to sleep with the thought of trying to remember what you thought while sleeping. think of it like having a job that you'll remember right after waking up.

It is okay as my whole family is here but I really dislike krauts (except my uni german friends ) in general. I feel lost in this country and it is exhausting to be here 2bh (and I hate the whole anti-Turkey policy in the west but that's not that important).

I tend to think in whatever language I am speaking. Now I am thinking in English. A few minutes ago I was thinking not really in any language because I was working on an image.
When just thinking in words by myself, I tend to think in English and Esperanto, although sometimes I think in a wierd mix of other languages. I sometimes laugh aloud in public when I suddenly repond to myself in a different language.

Well, it is really difficult to translate from english to another language fast enough for live dialog.
Try speaking to someone in, I assume you know French, but whenever the other person says something, translate it in your head to English, then compose an English response, and translate and respond in French.
If you can do it well, kudos to you. But I would have trouble.
