Nigeria is still in a shocking state. Literally 80% of their economy is oil and unlike other nations such as Norway and the UAE they're just burning through it. They're not using it to drive growth in other areas, they're not using it to develop and diversify their economy to be sustainable. They're just burning through oil with a rich elite just like any other African nation and it will collapse.

Yeah I can't think of the term but we have a terrible amount of disposable income for a western nation. The wage is decent but our cost if living is just so high.
That said, minimum wage is more than enough to save plenty of money if you're not just burning through it every week on frivolous things.
