Serious question why do asians celebrate Christmas ?
In my eyes only Philippines should celebrate it . It feels weird lad... that is like us celebrating eid and Lunar new year.
How do you asians even celebrate it ? Like do you also go on Christmas dinners and stuff ? or is it like Valentines day where its very commercialised ?

Hong Kong adopted a lot of culture from Britain during the colonial era so we celebrate a lot of western holidays as well as Chinese ones. Christmas is very commercialised in Hong Kong and my family has Christmas dinners every year, though we don't give out presents or treat it as a religious event. Also, there are plenty of decorations in shopping centres like those in Central and Causeway Bay, which are popular with lovers and families. I am not sure about other places.
