I know the common American beers are detested by europeans but i'm curious how aware europeans are of the craft brewing culture here.
I don't know how much craft beer gets exported, but if you've had the fortune to try some, what do you think?
Also: International beer appreciation thread. Whats your countries best? Currently drinking pic related and it's really tasty.
I only drink Scottish beer. Drinking British beer is a stretch.

Westvleteren 12 has been crowned best beer of the world a couple of times. Its extremely hard to get. You have to actually make an appointment with the monastery and register your licence plate before going there to buy some. You can buy one crate of 24 bottles a year.

Microbreweries are pooping up everywhere in Norway now, digging it. Favorite Norwegian beers are Lervig Konrad's stoute and Nögne ö Horizon Tokyo Black.
Now that's its been said, I got a beer making set for Christmas (grandfather), its just a 20liter set but its a good start.
