Balt was a term made up by Baltic germans for themselves. The term then accidentally became the "baltic" countries when the germans were deported, and the term basically meant "those three remaining countries that were eaten by the USSR".
The balts dont exist desu. Estonia and latvia into nordic. Lithuania into slavic central Europe.

Last night we had a family dinner then towards the end of the night I said, "would anyone like some tea?"
Then they were all like, "yeah that sounds nice"
