Fuck this piece of shit school.

I come from Portsmouth (well just outside it). Here's a nice photo I found.
The city's on an island, everything you see on the right side of the photo is on the island. Those houses in the distance, below the white cliffs, are on the mainland.
Portsmouth is one of the main naval bases of the UK - you can see the grey cranes and boats just right of the middle of the photo.
This is the cathedral.
Some ridiculous-looking statue next to canal.
>>52577092
Very nice, would worship in
Picture of the old town.
>>52577092
neat, now show him the dumpy trash heaps that pass for buildings 5 blocks from that.

Museu do Amanhã
(Museum of Tomorrow)
This is our synagogue. It was built in 2000; the bricks of the old synagogue, which was burnt down in 1938, were partly reused. We have 130 Jews here, but most of them aren't allowed to enter the building anymore because of disputes within the community (conflict between orthodox and liberals).
>>52577180
The orange-red tiles and church spire make me think of Central Europe, like Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc. Interesting.
Does Finland have much of a Central European influence? Obviously I know you have a lot in common with Estonia. Did people come from Central Europe, up through the baltic states, and then settle in Finland? Or am I just being meme-tastically stupid?
MEXICO SUCKS!
Borba Gato
>>52577323
Brazil sucks too
We all know you're a trash heap, stop fronting.
My city has no touristic atractions

>>52577095
We have these statues as well. You basically get a free pass for shitty art if you're a holocaust survivor.

If locals can afford it you can.
A better question is left or right?
Town hall, now with its hideous extension on the left
>>52576365
I feel like this isn't actually a mistake and is actually social commentary on Brazil.
>>52577535
Left of course
I hate my city
This is our city hall, it's fucking garbage
>>52577597
Trick question faggot, the correct answer is both.

May be they help make sure people make an orderly and efficient line and allow people to get off before others board all so people who don't understand basic public transit etiquette don't fuck everything up?
>>52577450
>no touristic atractions
You sure?
Also, pic related. We have a center of arts, where there are lot of native stuff, and other cultures' stuff. That is the best we can do,.At least you tried, Embu.
flyover county courthouse
>>52577795
Its catholic.
That theatre, the cathedral and the house of our municipality are pretty close together, and the park is kinda comfy, too. Definitively my favorite part of town.
>>52577823
se a pergunta foi no sentido de "por que é peculiar?", é porque o embarque (e desembarque) é feito na porra de um tubo, onde tu paga tua passagem antes de entrar no ônibus, a não ser que pule a catraca, o que acontece bem frequentemente.
It's not my town but lol
The church.
People are getting drunk on that grass strip next to it on a daily basis during summer.
>>52574849
I've read about Eugene and I''d be interested in visiting, seems really nice
>>52578025
I know, there isn't a city outside of Utah that has a Mormon temple referred to it as "our church".

These are the "borders" of Eugene Oregon. Literally how the fuck does this shit happen? I can accept Euro politic nonsense there, but what possible reason could Oregon have for this existing?
Worst of all the airport named for the city isn't even in these ridiculous borders.
>>52578102
Yeah, only americans are that retarted to promote that bizarre religion.
>>52577499
>>52577658
They are trannies
$20 for one hour
>>52577960
it also makes the system more efficient because passengers pay their ticket before getting on the bus. no one follows basic public transit etiquette here though, people will only get off before the others try to board when the bus stops are longer and the bus stops at a different place before letting passengers in (pic related). when it's raining it's also much better waiting for the bus on these things rather than on regular bus stops.
>>52578235
Whoops, here's the pic related.

>do they bring little Finnish blankets when they get drunk?
Some people do. What's the difference between a Finnish blanket and a regular blanket?
>Is it like a little Finnish alcoholic picnic?
Town drunks have their own spots, this one is mostly used by people aged 15-25.

We have submarine museum
>>52579550
There's a museum in San Diego, CA that has both a Russian and American sub from the Cold War and it's pretty cool. The Russian sub is a lot more tight and seems like a lot less consideration was made for the comfort of the submariners at least in comparison to the US sub
>>52579594
Depends on what kind of submarine. Nuclear ones were quite comfortable - had sauna, pool, recreation rooms.

This is KFC of my town
>>52580566
I am still surprised that there are so many KFCs abroad. It's not really even that popular in the US - not bad chicken but there are much better chicken places
>>52580686
KFC in Russia is much better than KFC in US.
>>52580795
I've never had it abroad, will have to try it next time I can. Usually I'd just go to Chick Fil A or Canes or even Popeyes instead
>>52580819
>Chick Fil A or Canes or even Popeyes
We don't have those.
We have Texas Chicken is it known in US or just a Russian thing?
>>52580882
Yeah but it's known as Church's Chicken in the US. Never had it but I know what it is

And we have no another US fast-food here (except Subway and Baskin Robbins, but it's not popular)
>>52580930
Huh
The only real knowledge I had of US fast food stuff in Russia was from this Alex Ovechkin documentary where he went to a McDs near Moscow and bought food for just about everyone there
>>52580962
>and bought food for just about everyone there
Ovi good guy, truly russian character
>Huh
I live in the middle city in Siberia btw
>>52581061
That makes more sense why there wouldn't be as many options then
And yeah I like Ovechkin a lot, he's a fun guy and has done great things for hockey at least in the US. Hope he gets a cup this year, he deserves it

We have these creepy ass guidestones that detail how the New World Order will take place. They include sage wisdom such as killing off all but 500 million humans and maintaining the population at that level indefinitely.
The rocks were commissioned under a pseudonym in 1979 and finished in 1980. No one knows who actually paid to have them built. Just another average day in Georgia.
