Why do Asians still use ideograms when Westerners have abandoned those in favor of alphabets literally 3000 years ago?

some languages like Jap and Chink won't work without them.cause they have so many words that sound exactly the same

>"still" use ideograms
>implying phonogram is better than it in every way
First of all it's not true that every Asian country uses only ideograms, senpai. For instance we have hiragana and katakana as well as kanji.
Well if you are retarded enough not to be able to memorize only thousands of ideograms nor to grasp the advantages of them, it's not good for you to use them I guess.
>>
>>52425233
Then why didn't it become widespread use in the rest of Asia?
>>
>>52425168
They think differently, their mindset is different, and so is their way of writing down and memorizing things.

Do you know any amount of Chinese? If you did, you'd know that writing it with an alphabet, while possible, is a crap shoot. Both because of homophones and dialects.

It's actually only Japan all over the world that uses both in its mother tongue.
Each of ideogram and phonogram has pros and cons, so you cannot determine which is superior.
It's really idiotic not to admit and respect cultural differences desu.
